"Big Data" Symposium at Georgetown Law

Law Library Director Margaret Christiansen and Assistant Director for Collection Development Marie Summerlin Hamm recently attended a symposium at Georgetown Law Center.

The session brought academics, policymakers, and law librarians together to examine the public good and collective harms associated with the large scale aggregation of information from public and private sources, as well as to explore issues impacting the future of digital preservation and the use of big data.

Video of each presentation and/or panel discussion is available on the symposium website.
