The newly released World Treaty Collection allows researchers to search across
all major treaty series in a single platform. The database, which covers 1648 to present,
includes more than 180,000 treaty records.
The
database includes the United Nations Treaty Series, League of Nations Treaty
Series, Martens Treaties, Historical Treaty Index, Hein’s U.S. Treaty Index, Rohn’s
World Treaty Index, the Multilateral Treaty Calendar and hundreds of related
publications such as Kavass’ Guide to the United States Treaties in Force.
Treaties
may be searched by keyword, country, treaty number, treaty type, party, sign
place, sign date, subject, or citation.
