Professor Tessa Dysart Presents at Law Faculty Colloquium

On Tuesday, October 27, Assistant Professor Tessa Dysart presented "The Origination Clause, the Affordable Care Act, and Indirect Constitutional Violations" as part of the Law Faculty Colloquium Series.

Recently published in the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, this article contends that the Supreme Court’s opinion in National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius, rekindles an old question about the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) under the Origination Clause.
