New Foreign & International Databases



The Law Library has added several excellent electronic Foreign & International resources to the Collection.

ECCO - Eighteenth Century Collection Online


Eighteenth Century Collections Online covers the development of law in the British Empire between 1701 and 1800.Topics include acts, criminal and international law, appellants’ cases and more.

Foreign Law Guide

The Foreign Law Guide by Thomas Reynolds and Arturo Flores is an excellent starting point for locating the statutes of another country. For each jurisdiction there is a brief introduction to the legal system, a list of codifications, gazettes and other sources of law and then a section listing sources of law by subject. There are citations to materials both in the original language and English translations where available.

IFLP- Index to Foreign Index Legal Periodicals (HeinOnline)

Indexes approximately 500 legal journals published worldwide. Provides in-depth coverage of international, comparative, and foreign law in all languages except Arabic. Contains leads to citations from articles published in 500 worldwide legal journals and approximately 80 individually published collections of legal essays, Festschriften and congress reports. Citations only.
