Do you Congress.gov?

For years now, the Law Library of Congress site affectionately known as THOMAS has been the go to destination for legislative information on the web.  Now there's a new kid on the block.  CONGRESS.GOV aims to transform the existing congressional information system into a modern, durable and user-friendly resource.

The beta version contains legislation from the 107th Congress (2001) to the present, member profiles from the 93rd Congress (1973) to the present, and some member profiles from the 80th through the 92nd Congresses (1947 to 1972).

Eventually, the site will incorporate all the information and features currently available in THOMAS, with the addition of improved search function, cleaner pages, and a responsive design for mobile devices.

The Congressional Record will be included next, with more to come . . .
